About wildner records

Klaus Wolfgang Wildner established the label wildner records in October 2005. The idea of founding a guitar label emerged from an intensive phase of work in the range of the Hermann Hauser Guitar Foundation. In numerous discussions with guitarists and luthiers the desire for a label - especially for acoustic guitar music - became apparent.

Guitar music is supposed to sound authentic and lively! It should be possible for listeners to hear the big and important differences between individual instruments. Artists are to evolve unhampered by usual production restraints.

Recordings are centered around guitar music. An essential part of preparing the productions is choosing different guitars for different pieces and styles of music. The individual tracks of our live and studio productions are created without any cutting.

Furthermore we make sure that you as a listener are presented the actual interpretation and pristine atmosphere of one individual concert evening. Even studio recordings are to reproduce the vivid moments of a live atmosphere.

The vast instrument collection of the Hermann Hauser Guitar Foundation has to be considered a special treasure. This collection comprises guitars from virtually every important era of guitar manufacturing. This allows recording both historical guitar music and current music with unique instruments.
